Minimum sustainable operations
An annual reference budget for the legal, technical and organisational costs needed to keep the work sustainable.
Peaceful World creates research, educational tools and public resources that remain freely accessible. Regular support gives the organisation continuity; one-time support helps us close concrete needs.
Here are Peaceful World’s current needs: a sustainable operating baseline, priority equipment and resource support.
An annual reference budget for the legal, technical and organisational costs needed to keep the work sustainable.
We need a modern high-memory workstation for production, research and local AI. Support can cover it fully, partly or through equipment.
Licences, cloud credits, professional services, hardware and useful introductions directly reduce our operating costs.
Support keeps open education, digital infrastructure, institutional resilience and accessible materials working together.
Research, public tools and educational materials remain freely accessible.
Hosting, development, security, backups, software and reliable equipment.
Accounting, compliance, governance and legal work keep the organisation dependable.
Translation, localisation, audio and accessibility help knowledge travel farther.
Three levels show the scale of work different annual budgets could sustain — from a stable base to research infrastructure.
Keep the organisation legally, technically and operationally stable.
Increase professional production, language capacity, tools and expert review.
Develop a larger research, educational and international collaboration infrastructure.
Here we show the resources already invested in Peaceful World: founder time, its workday equivalent and a reference labour value calculated with an open method.
Approximate founder time invested from Aug 2025 through Aug 2026, based on a calibrated working baseline.
The same amount of time expressed as a more intuitive workday equivalent.
Typical working rhythm across the represented period — about 39 hours per week.
Using the Eurostat 2025 EU whole-economy average labour cost of €34.9/hour as a reference for the founder’s in-kind contribution. Eurostat ↗
The baseline covers 13 full months from Aug 2025 through Aug 2026. A two-month Toggl sample from February and March 2026 averaged 169.65 hours per month and serves as the calibration point for the historical estimate. We use ≈39 hours/week as the working baseline; continuous personal time tracking is not required for the current model. The euro figure uses the Eurostat 2025 EU average labour cost of €34.9/hour as a reference for in-kind founder time. Other resource categories are added when reliable records exist.
